The stakes for thoroughbreds in connection with the State Fair to be held here during the sixteen days beginning October 10. are as follows: The Futurity. ,000. for two-year-olds, six furlongs; the Navigation Trinity Kiver. ,000. for two-year-ohls. six furlongs: Lone Star Selling. ,000. for three-year-olds and upward, one- nille: Lone Star Handicap. ,000. for three-year-olds and upward, mile and a sixteenth. In addition, there will be four steeplechases with valuable purses.
