Paul Davis was also a sufferer from being steered wide Into the stretch, but was not good enough to leat AVooIcasta today. Starover ran fairly well but tried t. run out on the first turn. Martin Doyle was outpaced for the first half, but came fast under urging and is in good form at present. St. Jeanne ran a good race and would have been closer up but for swerving in the final sixteenth. Ben Double set a fast pace, but quit after going three furlongs. Hasty Agnes hud no mishaps. TIarry Richeson began slowly and had a rough trip, but saved much ground when coming into the stretch and, finishing with a rush, came away in the last sixteenth. The Shaughraun also had a rough trip for the first three-quarters and closed a big gap in the last three furlongs. Gretna Green followed Orlandot closely from the start and got up in the last stride for third place. Tackle met, with sharp interference on the first turn and closed a big gap. Orlandot showed much speed for six furlongs and tired. Banrida tired in the stretch. Be Thankful was prominent for a half. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights Tackle. 1 iiouud.
