INTERNAL DIFFERENCES AT XATONIA. Cincinnati. O.. September 11. Tlie Enquirer printss this special from New York: "The strife between the warring elements that control the Latoriia race track shows no: -signs of abatement. If .anything, it looks now as If they -.might iiOt be able- to agree tif."tli extent of arranging, for the irojTttMl autumn meeting. On one hand, Joseph" Ly RhinocK. anil Rome Respess want, to name a set of track officials that will be agreeable to them and on the other hand the Colla-Adler-Tilles faction has the same: aoibition. There have been meetings here for the past few days of the magnates striving to reach an agreement, but it looks as if the differences are irreconcilable. "Uhinock and Respess want Judge Murphy to preside and it is understood that they have offered him a large salary as an inducement. The ofher crowd is violently opposed to the . appointment of Murpiiy. and It Is intimated that if the Respess crowd attempts to put Murphy in the stand tlie Cellas will resort to the courts to estop his acting by injunction proceedings. The Cella faction wants to-appoint Judge Price to preside. It is said, and to-leave the rest of the official duties to Johii Dillon and John Hachmeister. In the event that they cannot get Judge Price it has been intimated . that Ed Hopper might be induced to occupy the stand. The matter will have to be settled shortly. Neither side shows wigns of receding from its. position, and it begins to look like a case .of show-downj the holders of the trump cards to take the track. In the event that the Cellas win. U is understood that the entire management of the meeting will be delegated to Harvey Myers and John Hachmeister."
