QUIET RACING. WEEK IN ENGLAND. With the great Doncaster September meeting of 190! disposed of. a week of moderate racing follows In England. Meetings are scheduled for this week at Warwick; Great Yarmouth, Ayr. Manchester and Hnrst Park, but nil are of minor importance and not well patronized by tlie American owners now racing their horses in England. The Manchester meeting is the leading fixture and presents American nominations to one stake race, the Michaelmas Plate; of 50o sovereigns for two-vear-olds at five furlongs, straight, in which Mr. Belmont has entered Tasteful nnd Fond Memories, and Mr. Whitnev Whisk! Broom. New Castle. Blue Girl colt. Yorkville Belle colt and Sallie of Navarre colt. English racing will be of the same order until the big Newmarket fall meetings arrive, tlie first of which. Newmarket First. October, begins September 2S and will have for its-main feature the decision of the $.10,000 Jockey Club Stakes over the last mile and three-quarters of the Ccsarewitch course.
