w ANTICIPATE A BIG MEETING BALTIMORE, Md., October 27. Dr. F. W. Ashe, who is here looking after the interests of the Cuba-America Jockey Club at Laurel, received a letter from H. E. Swan, a prominent merchant of Havana, in which he states that the outlook is exceedingly bright for business and racing during the winter. The change in the betting system ha-j been welcomed by Cubans and is sure to be popular. The revival in business has come with the 0,000,000 loan by the government. The price of sugar is keeping up and the production is large and money therefore should be plentiful. Everyone anticipates a big meeting.
