DERBY BOOK NEAR CLOSE I Enormous Sums in Aggregate Have Been Placed — Fortune on In Memoriam. Future books on the Kentucky Derby will be closed generally on Wednesday, but some * may hold over until Thursday. An enor- I mous amount of money in the aggregate has been placed on the big race, one leading . book alone being credited with having taken j in a quarter of a million dollars. The aver- age prices of Saturday morning are given j here. Vigils price has been sharply cut t down since and other changes will be made T before the books close. The present outlook ? is that if In Memoriam should win most of . the books will lose. Otherwise most of them j will show a profit. Horse. Win. PI.
