May 14.โ€” The feature of todays training work at Woodbine was the t good trial of Honeys Jewel, the Giddings plater. Working with Royal Visitor he i went the full plate distance in 2:15. His : trial was a vast improvement over any of ! his previous works and he can now be con- i sidered one of the contenders for the rich prize in next Saturdays race. Fractional time was 25, 49%, 1 :16% and 1 :45%. The work was over a track that was not any too good. Game Scrapper, the Smallman plater, working alone was also sent a mile and a quarter in 2:19 the half in 52 and the mile in 1:51%. Cheechako the Fletcher plater broke the barrier with El Jesmar and breezed three quarters in 1 :19%. Vespra the Dyment plater was only asked to go a mile which he did easily in 1 :46%. Corenzio, the crack Dyment four-year-old which is ready to race and will be seen under colors at Woodbine, worked a mile in 1 :47. The Ross horses were all on the track today, several of them working, Mercutio going three-quarters in 1 :19. Feylance mile in 1 :53 and Affectation mile in 1:47%. The two-year-olds galloped in a bunch three-eighths in 39. Horses are arriving fast and the stables are rapidly filling. All the stabling accommodations have been spoken for and many stables have taken up quarters at the Thorn-cliffe Park. The field was again open for schooling this morning and while there were not many out Flying Frog did the best work of those that performed. The Queen City imported steeplechasers were on the track but not in the field. ยป โ€” ,
