F. Simms came out for a days racing j and to see Lucky Hour work. He galloped a mile in 1:42 with Schuttinger in the saddle after the running of the first race. It was rather an impressive move. His visit was . doubly pleasant when Southern Cross beat Flying Cloud. Entry blanks for the stakes of the Niagara i Racing Association meeting at Fort Erie 9 were distributed among the horsemen.
