DATE OF SALE CHANGED LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept 18. Unable to get stabling at or near Latonia, the Kentucky Sale Company has abandoned the plan to have a sale of yearlings there on September 29 and now is contemplating a sale here on Tuesday, October 21. The Latonia meeting will close on Saturday, October 18, and the Churchill Downs meeting will open Tuesday, October 23. This October 21 is an open date, as regards racing and all horsemen in this part of the country will have tlie opportunity to attend the sale without interruption of duties or interference with their sport. Whether or not the sale will be held wll depend upon the quick response of those having yearling for sale. A sale of breeding stock will be held here during the autumn race meeting of the Kentucky Association, in November.
