PUBLICO FUTDRITY NOV. 7 All the Best Two -Year-Olds of the Year Eligible for This Valuable Fixture. BALTIMORE, Md., Sept IS. The Maryland Jockey Clubs stellar two-year-old autumn fixture, the Pimlico Futurity, will be run on the fifth day of the coming meeting, Friday, November 7. This feature, to which the princely sum of 0,000, is added, was inaugurated in 1921, when Benjamin Blocks sensational bay colt Morvich, defeated Lucky Hour and Runan-tell, with Albert Johnson in the saddle. The field included Kaisang, My Play, Calamity Jane, Galantman Horologe, Spanish Maize and St Henry, and the stakes were worth 2,750 to the winner. , Albert Johnson again carried off the honors in 1922, when owing to the fact that thirty-two starters were named to go on a track that could comfortably accommodate less than half as many, the Maryland Jockey Club electrified the sporting community by dividing the stake in two divisions, adding 0,000 to each, an act of unprecedented liberality. This clever jockey had the mount on the winner of each division, carrying E. R. Bradleys green and white to victory on Blossom Time in the first, with Donges and Little Celt, second and third, and riding W. S. Kilmers Sallys Alley into first place in the second division, beating an exceptionally strong band, of which Martingale and My Own, that finished second and third, were the most noted. The Idle Hour Stock Farm repeated Bios- son Times Victory last year with Beau Butler, ridden by G. W. Carroll, A. II. Morris Maryland bred Rustic second, and the Belair Studs Aga Khan, also bred in Maryland third, the stake being worth 4,030. to the winner and the time for the mile was 1:39. For the approaching Futurity all the most prominent juveniles were nominated before they came into the world, and the race will attract an enormous crowd to the popular Pimlico plant
