Won easily; second and third driving. SWINGING began well and, showing high speed in the going, raced into an easy lead and was nnder restraint through the final eighth. BARBARY saved ground at the elbow, moved up resolutely in the stretch, but was doing her best at the end. SWEET ANN lost some ground when entering the stretch, but finished fast and gamely. WITCHBROOM and BROWN BETTY did their best. LAWRENCE closely and. jumping well, took the lead when called cn and was under restraint at the end. HORNSEA ran a good race all the way and, finishing resolutely, outstayed ST. LAWRENCE in the final drive. ST. LAWRENCE jumped well and raced into a good lead, but tired when challenged. ORIONS SWORD was always outrun. PRICKLE ran well for the first turn of the field. Won easily; second and third driving. BEATRICE showed the most speed from the start and, making the pace fast, raced- EXTREME Into exhaustion and held SENALADO safe at the- end. The latter was outrun for the first half, but worked his way up and finished fast. PEANUTS ran a good race all the way and finished gamely. EXTREME ran a fast half and was not persevered with when he tired. CLOUDLAND and EXTRA DRY were outpaced. Won easily; second and third driving. PEDDLER showed the most speed in the going and, racing into the lead quick, came wide in the best going on the stretch turn and held FLAMES safe at the end. The latter began slowly, bnt worked his way up on the outside and, finishing fast, was wearing the winner down. SKYSCRAPER ran a good race to the stretch, but was bumped at the middle, of the last turn by EAGLET and was forced to be taken up. EAGLET moved up resolutely on the outside on the far turn, but finished on the inside in the deepest going. Scratched 82055 Honor, 118; 83G293Plough Boy, 110. Overweight Peddler, 2 pounds. NORMAL set a good pace for the going and, racing" into a safe lead, came to the best going in the stretch and won by a safe margin. BAR GOLD followed the winner closely and moved up resolutely on the inside on the stretch turn, but finished in the deep going on the inside. HIGH COMMANDER ran a good race all the way. SCARE CROW ran well. OVERTAKE began very slowly.
