LADY MARIAN, well ridden, had to overcome interference but, moving up steadily into th lead, drew away in the stretch. THE COMPETITOR finished fast and gamely after making a slow beginning. FLOWER SHOP !was all over the track, but got up in the last stride foe third place. ZACK TERRELL was unprepared at the start and elosed a big gap, but tired near the end. TUB LEOPARD quit when reaching the stretch. DELSAN tired in the last eighth. COLFIN quit aftei leading to the far turn. MINUS began Flowly, but saved much ground on the turns anil raced into the ad in the stretch and held OUR OPTION safe in the final drive. OUR OPTION dropped back after the start, but closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. GUSSIE P. saved much ground when the leaders came wide on the stretch turn and finished gamely. MAMIE OJANE ran a good race and might have won but for interference from QUEEN BESS. The latter showed the most early speed, but tired and swerved out on the stretch turn. FRIEND closed up ground and came fast through the last quarter. ELECTOR ran well and had no mishaps, but tired in the last, eighth. PILLAGER showed speed, but began tiring after reaching the stretch. HOBSON ran well. EL MORO and Gaffney ran well to the stretch. BLOTTER showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired when challenged. PHIDIAS, taken back sharply in the first quarter, gained steadify in the stretch. SPORTi McGEE " had no mishaps.
