LATONIA TURF NOTES The following licenses were granted today : Trainers Dave Vititoe ; Mose F. Shapoff. Jockeys Robert Skatelle. Authorized Agent Geo. Winfield, for Four Oaks Stock Farm Stable. Former jockey Roscoe Goose, who will train Mrs. Caroline Coxs horses, was an arrival from New York. He reported that the horses he will assume charge of will reach Louisville from Saratoga about October 1. They are not intended for racing this year but will winter at Churchill Downs. Trainer Dave Vititoe arrived from Aurora with Huonec, the property of Mrs. J. Diebold and Flags, owned by A. P. Foley. Jockeys Lawrence Lyke and Albert Johnson arrived from the East today.
