I AURORA TRACK NOTES AURORA, 111., Sept 18. Jockey J. Smith was set down for five days by the starter for disobedience at the post in the fourth race Wednesday. W. J. Potter is confined to his bed at the Aurora Hotel suffering from a slight attack of influenza. Former judge C. A. McDonald will make the presentation Saturday of the beautiful trophy that will go to the winner of the Edgewater Beach Hotel Handicap in the absence of W. M. Dewey. Friday wil be ladies day and the fair sex will attend as the guests of the management. J. B. McGinn arrived from Vancouver with six horses. Captain E. C. Walker, owner of Lieut Colonel, is a visitor from Kentucky for a few days. Jack Lynch, the well-known maker, has returned to New York from. Chicago, where he buried his mother, who died there Monday. His many friends extend their sympathy in his bereavement
