THREATEN SUIT AT AURORA Charles E. Ford Plans Court Acton Against Newly Organized Racing Association. Charles E. Ford, who staged the twenty-five day race meeting at Aurora last year, has announced that he will bring suit to prevent the newly organized Exposition Park Jockey Club from holding a spring meeting at Aurora. Fords ten-year lease on the track was cancelled in January, it is claimed, and now Ford charges a conspiracy in the cancellation, and is threatening to carry the matter into court. He also says that he has notified the Thoroughbred Horsemens Association of his intention of enjoining any race body which figures on holding a meeting at Aurora. The Exposition Park Jockey Club was organized after Fords lease was cancelled and later announced that it would hold a spring meeting from June 4 to June 27. Charles Trimble, the general manager of the new organization, stated yesterday that they intended to go ahead with the proposed meeting despite the threatened suit of Ford, having already received over five hundred stahle applications. Mr. Trimble further stated that the officials, purses and other details would be announced next week.
