Won driving; second and third the same. SUNNY MAID raced forwardly from the start and, entitling FLAPPER GIRL tiring in the last sixteenth, outgamed her In the final strides. FLAPPER GIRL took the lead in the first eighth, but tired when she appeared to have the race won. BUTTERCUP closed a big gap. LOG FIRE could not keep up. Won easily; second and third driving. ST. OUENTIN took the lead at once and held it comfortably to the stretch, but his rider took no chances and had him under hard riding to the end. LESLIE worked his way up from a slow begiuuing and came wide at the head of the stretch, but held GOLDEN RED safe at the end. The latter ran a go 1 race. ELM tired. LETTERMAN closed a gap. CHARLES WELLS began forwardly. hot was outrun for the first half mile, then began moving up fast and came into the stretch, but recovered gamely, overhauling TAMARIND in the last twenty yards outgamed him. TAMARIND set the pace and slipped through on the inside when turning for home, but was in deep going through the stretch and tired right at the eud.
