VOX POPULI II. raced into the lead with a rush when caled on and. withstanding challenge* from CHUCKLE and SILVER THREADS, was going away at the end. CHUCKLE ran a good race all the way. but was tiring at the finish. ST. LAWRENCE showed early speed, but also tired. PECCANT was forced to be taken up when he stumbled over the prostrate BASHDON at the seventh jump.
