Brown has purchased the contract of the apprentice rider Armstrong from Ihil Walters. O. I,. Foster returned today from a trip to Lexington, Ky. Crestwood Boy is on the sick list, having developed a cold since his last race, which he won. The two-year-old Bullfornia severed an artery in his left hind foot during the running of the opening dash and pulled up bleeding freely.
