DEATH TAKES GEORGE PAUL LOUISVILLE Ky June 1 George Paul 4 years of age an assistant to starter W Hamilton and a former jockey was found dead in a room in Stable D at Douglas Park early this morning Deputy coroner Joseph P Beck pronounced death due to a heart attack Paul had been ill for several days his condition forcing him to forego his duties Tuesday afternoon when he retired and was not seen again until stable hands discovered the body Paul whose home was at Lexington Ky for several years had been employed on the Kentucky tracks His duties at Churchill were to handle the recall
