CANADIAN RECRUIT TO RACING TORONTO OnL June 1 Harry C Hatch millionaire sportsman of Toronto and presi ¬ dent of tin Gooderham Worts and Hiram Walker companies is the latest addition to the ranks of Canadian owners Mr Hatch through his agent Allen Case purchased the champion fouryearold Canadianbred filly Tattling the threeyearold Lactarius and Guest a twoyearold son of Boniface Gibberish at the J 1C L Ross disposal sale at Thorncliffe and has engaged the well known trainer Harry Giddings Jr of Woak viIe to look after the hcrses Mr Hatch paid SllrOO for Tattling JSCOO for Lactarius and SCCO for Guest Following the Thorn ¬ cliffe meeting th horse will be shipped East lo bo campaigned at the Connaught Park and Blue Bonnets meetings The twoyear old bowed a tendon in her last race at Wood ¬ bine Iark and may be on the shelf for some time but the other two will likely be seen under the silks of their new owner shortly
