LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS x The four leading jockeys had little to boast of last week. Between a combination of idleness and inability to ride winners their total number of victories remain the same as their standing published a week ago. The stars of last weeks racing were L. Pichon. L. Sehaefer and Eddie Ambrose. The latter, a veteran, has apparently taken a new lease on life and is riding with great courage, confidence and success. His six winners and the same number for Pichon and Sehaefer top the leaders in number of winners for the week, while A. Tascuma, R. Jones and 1£ Meyer were next with four winners each. Following are the records of the thirty leading riders from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday : Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3.1. Unp. P.C.L.W Meyer.
