The highest realized was ,250 for the colt out of La Touche, a Comedy King mare. At the yearling thoroughbred sales at Sydney April 12 a colt by Saltash. imported from Weltca, brought 3,750, which is a rec-orel for Australia. The previous highest for such a type was 7,500, which was paid for Avant-Courier in 1926, says Reuter.
