Salmon, who will be pleased to read that the first of Bold and Bads yearlings sold in Melbourne last week made fair prices. The highest realized was ,250 for the colt out of La Touche, a Comedy King mare. At the yearling thoroughbred sales at Sydney April 12 a colt by Saltash. imported from Weltca, brought 3,750, which is a rec-orel for Australia. The previous highest for such a type was 7,500, which was paid for Avant-Courier in 1926, says Reuter.
