V ITHGRNCL1FFE TRACK NOTEst ยง TORONTO, Ont., May 28. The Flying Horse Stable left for Belmont this morning. On receipt of a telegram that his mother was dangerously ill at her home in Uhrichs-ville, Ohio, Basil Smith, one of starter Cas-sidys assistants, made a hurried departure for the States yesterday. His place is being filled temporarily by "Nipper" Rowe. Boat were returned to Belmont Park Sunday, when they left in the car that Tommie Creery is shipping back to New York. The "W. J. Salmon stable lost another cheap plater on Saturday when S. Hesseltine claimed the three-year-old Blue Flag, out of the seventh race. Capmont, a two-year-old in the stable of A. G. Weston, succumbed to fever contracted en route from Pimlico to Toronto. This is the second horse in the Weston band to die since its arrival in Canada. Steeplechase jockey Charles Mergler and J. McCoy, who does the flat riding for the Tom McCreery stable, departed for New York yesterday. Ral Parrs jumper Kangaroo will be sent to Brookline, Mass., to take part in the steeplechase meeting to be given at that point. Later on he will be sent to New York. Humberside was withdrawn from the first race by order of the stewards when it was found that the horse had not been registered witii the Canadian Racing Associations. One of the rules of the racing here is that all Canadian-bred horses must be registered with the Canadian Racing Associations.
