TTairmount park NOTES 1 _ $ COLLINTSVILLE. 111., June 5. C. A. Coyles good handicap racer Sea Rocket, which was injured when kicked while at the post in a race at Havre de Grace this spring, is training nicely again at Fairmount Park and may be back to the races in a short time. The next of the important stake events down for decision at Fairmount Park is the Valley Stakes, of ?5,000 added, to be run Saturday, June 9. Jockey "W. Smith had his first mount of the meeting when astride Dark Angel, a starter in the fourth race today. The second issue of the condition books for the spring meeting covering the seven days extending from June 7 to and including Thursday, Juno 14, were released by racing secretary J. B. C.-.mpbell today. With the advantage of the knowledge of the class of horses available for the races, Mr. Campbell has provided in the new book races which will bring together larger and more evenly matched fields. P. C. Galliger. in charge of the stabling at Fairmount Park, reports that 638 horses are now in quarters at the track and that fifty stalls are being held in reserve for those stables that have entries in the stake events to be run during the meeting. It is expected that several of these stables will probably arrive this week, notably those of C. E. Durnell with Irish Pal and other horses belonging to Griffin Watkins of Alton and the Three Ds Stock Farms eligibles to the ,000 added Valley Stakles, to be run Saturday. « :
