T" LATONIA TURF NOTES £ j LATOXIA, Ky., June 5. The E. B. Mcl,ean stable of twenty-eight head, R. €,. Frakes with but two less and A. Bakers establishment, embracing twenty-three racers, are among the larger stables on the grounds. S. S. Combs, who races a number of horses in partnership with A. B. Gallaher, came in from Louisville with a dozen useful horses. Jockey D. Connelly is with this successful stable. Frank Swain, who races Clover Club and Frank Fullen, has taken over Mickey D. and Sissie D., owned by William Dondas. The entire Coldstream Stud Stable of C. B. Shaffer has been assembled here by trainer Frank Taylor and includes thirteen horses. " J. Baylor, "who seldom misses a Latonia season, is on hand with five racers of the plater type. W. Scofield unloaded fifteen of the J. J. Coughlin horses. They came from Louisville from where D. Miller shipped the others of that stable to Arlington Park.
