JOCKEY HEUPEL IN TROUBLE LATOXIA, Ky., June 5. — The stewards were dissatisfied with the ride of jockey J. Heupel. on McComas. in the third race today and sent for him and also the owner, T. M. Botts. There was a material conflict of statements from them. Botts also stated that McComas had suffered a severe cut during the running of the race. The stewards thereupon di-rected that an examination be made and Dr. Bradley, the clubs veterinarian, reported a very slight abrasion and nothing, in his opinion, to interfere with the free runnng of the horse. The stewards will withhold any action until further invest igaton and consideration. . «.
