The stewards authorized the following licenses : Trainers, M. H. Jordan, O. H. Brskine, S. Gratton and H. Garth. Jockey R. Zucchini. Apprentice: Julius Kleinbard. Agent: Gits F. Schreiner for B. C. Bunbury. A. Kane has taken second call on jockey H. Gray for the Latonia meeting. J. S.. Wallace today served as one of the placing judges. He assisted W. H. Shelley and X. H. McClelland. Included among the larger stables that came in from Louisville during the past twenty-four hours were those of G. V. Barnes. H. Massey, R. L. Baker, J. B. Respess and W. Reed. . Respess will have twenty-six horses available for racing here. L. V. Bellew brought a dozen horses, the property of J. C. Ellis, from Aurora, where they raced with success and L. V. Bellew, Jr., brought two from the same Illinois course. Hugh Garth, a newcomer to these parts, arrived with ten horses and found quarters for them outside the track. He has the two-year-olds Low Shoes, Tontine, Faithless and Lilly E. to race in his own colors ; Sonmisha, Toney the Clown, Clownish and Rocky Den, all two-year-olds, owned by C. Way ; Wrrack Maid for P. Gilligan and J. D. Millers Mark Master. Apprentice W. Barrett came along with the Garth establishment. Fred Burton, who is in charge of the jockeys quarters, reported today that forty-six riders had registered with him. R. Zucchini, J. Pevic and B. Ray are among the additions. T. P. Hayes, veteran horseman, who has been ill for the past several weeks, is still unable to leave Louisville. His condition was reported slightly improved today. Al Luzader was an arrival with Dingo, the property of F. P. Wilson of Louisville, and Xonchalant, which races under the Luzader colors. O. A. Blanchi brought his stable of five head from Louisville and A. L. Taylor arrived from Ohio with Vernon. He disposed of Chittagong and Handclasp at Beulafa Park.
