JESSIE CAUEY. benefited by crowding back several opponents, closed gamely. MISS MOONLIGHT finished well. EVEKBLUB began slowly. MALLY JANE had a rough journey. SIOOKY appeared to have suffered interference from LADY WITT and broke down badly after racing into contention. MAIDENS TRYST was crowded by JESSIE CAREY on the far turn and unseated her rider. CLOCHE was done after three-quarters. LILLYFIELD fell while in close quarters in the stretch and JIMMALEE and PRINCESS DONNA fell over her. ELLICE had the most early speed, but quit in the final quarter. LELIA PEACHY was going well when she met with interference on the stretch turn. PHOTOS STAR dwelt at the start. AMSTERDAM had the most speed and, saving ground to the stretch, where he swerved out while drawing clear, tired in the final seventy yards. KENTUCKY ACE lacked his usual early speed, raced wide and made a game finish. LANCER, taken back on the first turn, saved ground thereafter.
