TORO ASKED TO CARRY 126 ♦ He and Jock Given Top Weights in Grainger Memorial. ♦ Clyde Van Dusen, Winner of the Kentucky Derby, Is Assigned 110 Pounds; Race to Be Bun Saturday. ♦ That Toro and Jock, of the McLean Stable, are going to bear most of the heavy burdens of those in the handicap division In the West this summer, was indicated again on announcement of weights for the 0,000 added Grainger Memorial Handicap, which will be run at Churchill Downs next Saturday, May 25. Toro is asked to shoulder 126 pounds and Jock 124. In either case this is a good weight concession to such as Misstep, Nassak and Genie, which are assigned 118 pounds. Others that are respected are Hydromel. with 115 ; Sortie, with 115 ; Flat Iron, Chicago and Martie Fiynn, with 114. Clyde Van Dusen, winner of the Kentucky Derby, is assigned 110 pounds, the same as Tutti Frutti, the older Chilean horse which performed so well in Florida during the winter. Bobashela, a recent winner for the Aud-ley Farm Stable, is asked to carry 112. The Grainger Memorial is run over a distance of one mile and a quarter. It is for three-year-olds and up.
