f AURORA TURF NOTES "7 9 1 AURORA, 111., May 21. Bill Kyne, Solly Tichner, Woody Korper and George Lewis got in from Tulsa, Okla., and are taking in the races for a few days at Exposition Park before leaving for Reno, Nev. Pete Clark will come to Chicago on Saturday for a brief stay before departing for the Reno meeting. Solly Tichner is distributing condition books for the Reno meeting to the horsemen at Exposition Park. John Carey is a visitor at Exposition Park, working in the interest of the Ak-Sar-Ben Exposition Companys forthcoming meeting at Omaha, Neb. J. Russo sold the horses Golden Volt and Black Bart at private sale to G. E. Pappas, Chicago restaurant owner. J. P. McGovern will train them for the new owner. Racing secretary Charles E. Henry requests horsemen shipping from here to Washington Park to file their registrations and requests for badges as soon as possible at the secretarys office, Exposition Park. Jockey J. OMalley, one of the lads injured in last race Monday, was able to be around this afternoon. He escaped with a bad shaking up and will be unable to ride for several weeks, due to a severely skinned thigh and leg. Jockey H. Clements is still under observation and is being taken care of at Aurora Hospital. His condition is reported as favorable, the lad having suffered no broken bones in his fall with Red Dragon. Val Crane, owner of the Wild Rose Farm horses, which are now quartered at Washington Park along with J. R. Thompson Jr.s -Minotaur, was one of the visitors of the day at Exposition Park. He was accompanied by Charles Reid, agent for the Wild Rose Earm. O. Johnson, acting for the Missouri Stable of R. P. Coppage, purchased the two-year-old Hattie Seth from the Jones Stock Farm at a late hour this morning. Hattie Seth raced in the interests of the Missouri Stable in the third race. i
