POMPANO RACING PLANT SOLD FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 21.— Purchase of the Pompano racing plant by a New York syndicate for a consideration said to exceed ,000,000 was announced here recently by J. K. Forshee, of New York. It was stated the track, which has not been operated since the season of 1926, will be remodeled and made ready for a thirty-day meeting next winter.
