f AURORA TURF NOTES 1 t, , AURORA, 111., May 22. Jockeys D. Smith and V. Smith are leaving for Fairmount Park to ride during that meeting. V. Smith, a promising young apprentice rider, is under contract to E. Haughton, connected with the G. Collins stable. Apprentice B. Hanford had the first mount of his career in the second race here on Wednesday. Hanford hails from Omaha, Xebr., and is eighteen years of age. He is under contract to R. Pollard. The R. Pollard and S. C. Hunt horses will be shipped from Exposition Park to Fair-mount Park, probably leaving Aurora on Thursday.
