DAM OF DERBY WINNER NEW YORK, N. Y., May 22— Uncles Lassie, dam of Clyde Van Dusen, was bought from W. R. Coe by H. P. Gardner for ,500 as a juvenile. Under Lew Williams she won several races and early during her three-year-old year was claimed by Arthur Brent for ,500. Williams then took her by claim and campaigned her with considerable success. Due to osselet trouble she was retired at New Orleans the next winter and became Gardners property for breeding purposes.
