AUDLEY FARM STABLE PLANS » Big Division of Jones Establishment to Race at Arlington. • The Choctaw, Soul of Honor, Fairdale and Oni Monsieur Eligible for 0,000 American Classic. The division of the Audley Farm Stable in charge of trainer Kay Spence, now being campaigned at Churchill Downs will be one of the most extensive of the western racing establishments that will participate in the Arlington Park meeting that will be inaugurated July 1 under the auspices of the American National Jockey Club. Stable accommodation at the track for thirty-three horses has been reserved for the string, which, according to Spences present plans, will be transferred to Arlington toward the close of the Latonia meeting. A number of the best horses in the stables eastern division being trained by Miller Henderson will also be sent to the northwest side track to fill their stake engagements. Trainer Spence fared unusually well with his charges last year at Arlington, and is confident of duplicating that success during the forthcoming meeting. Included in the list of horses he will race here will be The Choctaw, Soul of Honor, Fairdale and Oui Monsieur, all eligibles to the 0,000 added American Classic. This quartet is also among the eligibles to the North Shore Handicap, the other of the clubs specials for three-year-olds. The stable also has numerous entries in the stakes for juveniles, of which Spences division is p.entifully supplied this year. The stable of J. W. Marchbank, California breeder and owner, is another which will campaign at Arlington. The stable at present comprises sixteen head, about equally divided between two- and three-year-olds. The youngsters in the stable are mainly the product of Mr. Marchbanks Walnut Creek Farm, and are said to be an unusually good looking aggregation. They are principally the bet of King Heather. Mr. Marchbank is a most liberal nominator to the various Arlington stakes. Among the ones he has named is Major Johnson, a bay colt by King Heather — Revolution, which is an eligible to the American Classic. The stable is now stationed at Collinsville in charge of trainer P. L. Lycan, but it will be shipped to Arlington in time for the opening of that meeting. J. W. Parrish, well known breeder and owner of Midway, Ky., who failed to nominate his good colt Roy to the Kentucky Derby, has named the son of King Gorin and Millie Fleures to the Classic. Roy made his mark as a two-year-old when he beat a good field in the Cincinnati Trophy at Latonia. «
