BREAKAWAY, close up on the outside to the stretch, finished fast and wore down the leaders, outfinishing EMERYVILLE. The latter raced close up, forcing the pace and, taking the lead from DAINTY MISS, just failed to withstand the winner. OBLIGE worked his way up and, finishing fast on the outside. hnld the others safe. DAINTY MISS showed good speed, set the early pace, but tired. LADY LOLISE could never reach the leaders and was on the outside throughout. DE YELDARB was always outpacd. MARJORY SETH began slowly but under strong riding worked her way up to the leaders and, finishing fast, just got up to nose out DOCTOR GLENN. The latter forced the early pace, took the lead away from BRIGHT PLUME and continued well but tired in the final strides. CHICOLA, hard ridden, began well, raced to the extreme outside, but kept pace with the leaders and finished gamely. REALTY raced forwardly on the inside and showed a good performance. CRAFTY SAINT began slowly and closed much ground. BIG STICK was never a factor. BRIGHT PLUME quit after three-eighths. SWEEPSTAKES, well ridden and saving ground on the inside, gained on the leaders to the stretch, then came to the outside to wear down and outfinish CIP O TEA. The latter ran well throughout, taking the lead from FORLUCK in the stretch, but failed to stall off the winner. STNOLIN, a factor from the start, saved much ground all the way and held on gamely. DREAM LIFE was almost left at the post, then closed a big gap and finished fast. FORLCCK quit after showing the most speed to the stretch turn. EMPHATIC was done after the first three-eighths. SPANISH ASTER raced in closest pursuit of HILARY to the stretch turn, took the lead when ready and easily won going away. HILARY set a good pace for the first three-quarters, but was no match for the winner in the stretch, but outfinished the others. SLY POLLY began poorly, but worked her way up gradually, finishing fast and out gamed COUNSELLOR CONNOLLY. The latter raced well and had no mishaps. PON1MOI was going gamely at the end.
