LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS While the leaders in the 1930 jockey list were inactive the first week after the close of their strenuous winter campaigns, A. Robertson, who finished third in the standing of 1929, made a good start on the eastern season by riding three winners at Bowie. Only one other- jockey, R. Workman, did better. Workman riding four winners. The first four leaders Redding, Russell, Riley and Goodrich did not ride during the week and the only gain made by one well up in the standing was by G. Quackenbush, who rode two winners and increased his total of victories to thirty-two. Following are the records of the first thirty American jockeys: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2nd. 3rd. TJnp. PC. LW.
