HIMYAR FOALS REPORTED Carlaris, Noah, Crusader Sires of Newborn Colts Neal Engaged by Greely. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 7. Col. Phil T. Chinn reports the following foals at Himyar Stud: April 2, bay colt by Carlaris Rock Pocket; April 3, bay colt by Waygood Black Sea ; April 3, black colt by Noah Coquette ; April 3, bay colt by Crusader Pen Rose ; April 4, bay colt by Flitter Gold Little Feb. Jockey D. Dubois arrived from New Orleans, but is undecided whether he will get into the saddle at the Lexington meeting or go to Chicago. J. J. Greely, owner of several horses training here, said today that jockey Paul Neal would be in his employ during the Lexington spring meeting. Miss Elizabeth Daingerfield reports the following foals at Faraway Farm: March 27, bay colt by Morvich Batanoea ; March 28, bay colt by Mars Eacuina ; March 31, chestnut colt by Man o War Boasting ; March 31, bay colt by Mars Florence Webber. Batanoea, bay mare, 191C, by Roi Herode from Pink Clover, by Melton, imported, and owned by Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords, died on March 27 at Faraway Farms after foaling a bay colt by Morvich. M. Webb Offutt reports a chestnut colt by American Flag from Poise at his Elmwood Farm on March 28. The mare will go to Brilliant this spring.
