WORKOUTS AT AURORA AURORA, 111., April 7. Following are the first workouts over the Aurora track, which was good this morning: Three-eighths, Wentz, :44 ; Seths Premium, :44 ; Queer-quill, :44b. Half mile, Bridegroom, :54Mh. Very few horses made their appearance on the track, most work being confined to slow gallops. The horses of F. Walker and J. Driscoll were arrivals from Agua Caliente, the former unloading five and the latter six, headed by the good plater Richu. Joe Dryer was an arrival with three horses from St. Johns Park. C. Ray reports his horse Keehan down with a fever. Ray recently purchased this plater from B. B. Rice.
