WASHINGTON PARK STABLING The Washington Park Jockey Club, in giv- ing additional details respecting improvements at that course, has announced that the demand for additional stalls had rendered it necessary to erect four more barns, each to have a capacity of fifty stalls. Material for the buildings is now on the grounds and a force of men is at work, he said. The task of placing the plant in order for the 30-day meeting, scheduled to open May 2G and end June 28, will be completed at least three weeks before the opening. The track will be ready May 1 for the reception of racers. Several requests from owners asking for the privilege of earlier shipment of horses have been refused as it was deemed advisable to . have the track and stables in proper condition.
