MORE FOALS AT HERTZ FARM. New foals at John Hertz Leona Farm are a brown colt by Black Servant sire of Blue Larkspur from Annie Gowdy. and a brown colt by Black Toney sire of Black Servant, Black Gold, Captain Hal, Black Maria, Miss Jemima, Broadway Jones, etc., from Oubliette. The Black Servant foal came March 27, the Black Toney foal April 2. Both are thriving. Annie Gowdy is a six-year-old daughter of High Time and Activity, she a daughter of Mont dOr and Saskia, she an imported daughter of Orby. Oubliette is a twelve-year-old daughter of Valens and Popingoal. She has a smartly tried two-year-Qld colt in the Hertz string at Belmont Park this spring called His Last, a son of Luke McLuke.
