AALII opened up a long early lead and appeared all over a winner in the stretch, but tired badly in the last sixteenth. CLUAVAR raced well up all the way. OUR BAN tired after dashing into contention. POSTPAID, much the best, followed the pace closely in the early running and headed the others in the final drive to win by a wide margin. FLY WOOD was always well up and, though no match for the winner, raced gamely to the end to dispose of the others. CELYANE, under a weak ride, was off slowly arid, while running in last place, was shut off on the far turn, but came very wide in the stretch and finished fast. MOTOR PARK quit. MORSUN, always well up, came to the outside of the others on the stretch turn and, finishing fast and gamely, got to the front at mid-stretch and held FLAG TIME in a driving finish. The latter was a factor throughout and held on gamely, but was not good enough. TONTO ROCK was in close quarters in the stretch. GOLDEN PRINCE was never subjected to punishment and made up ground. AVOODFACE had no excuses. PERRIEIION was shuffled back early and Is capable of doing much better. DEEP RIVER was shuffled back after the start, but closed a gap and, coming on the outside in the stretch, was gaining at the end. OMRAII was shut off rounding the first turn, but loomed up dangerously on the final turn and obtained a short lead in the stretch only to tire in the final drive. AMELIA MAY dashed to the front in the first quarter, but could not hold her good early lead. WILL BANK had no excuses and lacked speed. AjCVT A EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 Miles. The latter raced well up and, saving much ground rounding the final turn, got to the front, but was overtaken by the winner in the closing strides.
