1 MARYLAND TURF NOTES f s HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April IS. Jockey F. Dainty, who showed good form at the Florida meetings, departed for Lexington this morning. He will finish out the spring season on the Kentucky tracks, where he will ride as a freelance. Judge Dixon and Whileaway joined starter Miltons list of horses that will have to be schooled before their entries will be accepted again. Frank Bray has arranged to leave for Jamaica with his stable. They will entrain Saturday morning to be on hand for the opening. At the conclusion of the Bowie meeting the Chilean-bred racer, Tutti Frutti, was shipped to the Kenneth Gilpin farm in Arirginia. He has already been bred to two mares. The Canadian sportsman H. C. Hatch made his first visit to Havre de Grace and was much impressed with the plant. He commented on the club house and the splendid stables on the plant and signified his intention of racing a division of his stable here in the future. "I can readily see," he said, "why the Canadians are so anxious to ship here for the Maryland spring meetings. The surroundings are so pleasant and it enables one to get their horses ready much earlier than if they remained in Ontario."
