FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES Q COLLINSVILLE, 111., April 30. Registration blanks and applications for licenses were distributed by Richard Leigh, assistant to Julius Reeder, and work in the secretarys office officially begins Thursday morning. They will be assisted in the -office work by Frank Hawley, former jockey and owner, who just arrived from "Wheeling. Hawley brought word from G. R. "Buddy" "Wingfield, who is now starting at Columbus, that he will have one of his assistants on the grounds to begin schooling Monday morning. The horses of J. G. Demarest and O. Viau arrived from Wheeling, jockey P. Garrity accompanying the shipment. Jockeys who are now here exercising horses in the mornings include Joe Ford, T. Swigert, M. Rose. E. Goodrich, leading rider at Wheeling; J. Dunn, J. Edwards, IT. Thi-bodeaux, J. Kellum, R. Whittaker, the veteran Clyde Pence, G. Fowler, A. Pendergast. C. Whimmer, T. Root, G. Cimerak, R. OBrien, and C. E. Allen. C. H. Allen, who recently was denied a license, is here galloping horses for the Reichcrt Brothers. He has hopes of his case being reopened. G F. Jenkins, who trained the leading money-winning stable at Wheeling, said all of his charges were in fine condition following their arrival here and. the short rest before the meeting here would do them a lot of good.
