VACATION IS BEUUH WINNER Concedes Weight and Outsprints Peralta and Son Ami Sweet Lacruse Wins. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 30. Vacation, running his second race of the Beulah Park meeting, captured the Neil House Purse, at three-quarters of a mile today. He conceded weight to the rest of the field and beat out the recent winner Peralta. Son Ami, which had been close up in his two efforts here, finished third. Displaying good speed throughout, Gussie Pool led for most of the trip in the initial dash. Southern Cloud outgamed Mayes Lutz during the stretch test for the second -honors, despite finishing in close quarters next the inner rail. Bunny Hug raced wide while leading at the first turn and Dorothy Ellen refused to break as the start came. A huge suprise developed when Capistrano captured the second race with much to spare, after having disposed of Buchon while rounding the stretch turn. Kalakaua headed High Prince in the last few strides for second. The early contenders all tired rapidly during the stretch run, among them Buchon, Drastilla and Passenger. Wine Jug displayed the most speed of the party at all stages of the third dash. She scored by only a neck but appeared to have something in reserve. Guy Frazer retained a safe margin over the others throughout. In the final drive Prince Ronald headed the tiring Frostilla Girl for the show honors. Taking command at once, Sweet Lacruse retained a safe lead in the fourth. Proofreader was in closest pursuit of the winner for most of the trip. Queen Emma had easily disposed of the balance during the last quarter and saved ground during the stretch run. R. P. Gillettes claim for Dante was disallowed for the reason that it was not made iout properly.
