OFFERED 5,000 FOR COLT NEW YORK, N. Y., May 6.— Benjamin Block refused an offer of 5,000 for his Kentucky Derby candidate, Morstone, the son of Morvich and Mormaw. When asked if 00,000 would tempt him, his reply was that the colt was not for sale. Clarence Buxton stated he would ship Morstone to Louisville Monday in charge of his brother, "Happy." Jockey Catrone will leave Tuesday, while Clarence will leave Thursday. Owner Ben Block will be host to a party of friends to witness the running. Mor-stones price in Tom Shaws future Derby prices was cut to 8 to 1. «
