CHESTER VASE WINNER Special Cablegram. CHESTER, England, May 6.— Sandwich, the three-year-old colt owned by J. J. Maher, today won the Chester Vase here, defeating the Aga Khans Pickpocket by one length and a half. Pickpocket was the 2 to 1 favorite in the eleven-horse field.
