SHIFT came gamely in the stretch and, after meeting with interference when KING AT ARMS bore out at mid stretch, carried the latter in during the last sixteenth and scored in a driving fiaish. KING AT ARMS set most of the pace and held on well. RADIO SERVICE closed fastest of all in the middle of the track. NIGHT CRY was in close quarters approaching the stretch turn. CHEHALIS was tinng. RELLINE soon took the lead and, racing well, held sway to the end. PRANCING STEP improved his position steadily and was gaining on the winner at the end. THISTLE EVIE met interference after the start and was in close quarters on the far turn. EMULATOR and BLUE CLOUD tired. CLASSY was shuffled back at the start. EASTER BOY and PRINCESS EVOL fell in a jam on the far turn and DONTADOS and BVANTNCH lost their riders when thev " stumbled over the prostrate animals. The latter took a good lead by saving ground entering the stretch but, although racing gamely to the end, could not resist the winner. VOLE gained steadily in the stretch. GOLD HANDLE was closer up than usual in the early stages. WHITE HOOFS showed speed in spots. The others never threatened. Overweight — Gold Handle. 1 pounds. BONAIRE stumbled at the start, saved ground on the bark stretch and got up. but was blocked on the far turn. CAR LINO tired after looming up dangerously. GENERAL KEEPS raced wide on the first turn.
