READY AT RIVERSIDE PARK Kansas City Meeting of Twenty-Five Days Scheduled to Begin Saturday — New Club House. KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 8.— The sport of kings comes back to Kansas City in a blaze of glory here Saturday afternoon, with the inaugural of the twenty-five or more day meeting of William P. Kyne and his associates. With by far and away the finest group of thoroughbreds ever stabled at Riverside, indications point to the most successful meeting in history. Such well known horses as McGonigle, Perfect Play, King Halma, Miss Cheyenne and others of like caliber will compete at Riverside. A number of good jockeys, including Richard Headrick, stable rider for C. B. Irwin, L. Arnold, with the J. D. Mikel string, Marvin Wimmer, Pete Dyer and Virgil Moore are here, and Riverside will not lack for competent riders. Notable changes have been made at the Riverside plant. A new club house has been built, which will cater to the exclusive sporting and social sets of Kansas City and surrounding territory. The grand stand has been renovated, the plant cleaned up in general, transportation facilities improved and enlargements made to the contribution windows Riverside Park operates under the contribution system. William P. Kyne has made arrangements to handle a capacity throng opening day. The track is located on State Highway 59, between Kansas City and Parkville, Mo., and is but a few minutes drive from the heart of Kansas City. Frequent bus and trolley service stations will be maintained. *
