SIR JOHREN, outrun to the stretch, outlasted the tiring ON TAP in the final strides. The latter tired badly after racing with the winner. SUN FORWARD improved hit position steadily and finished gamely. PLAY FURIOUS showed a good performance throughout. ATHEL closed ground. WESTKO quit under urging.
