100 HORSES FOR DANVILLE Special Train Scheduled to Leave Exposition Park for Down-state City Monday. AURORA. 111., May 23.— Many horses ! which have been racing at Exposition Park will entrain for Danville Monday. The inaugural j" meeting at the downstate city will get under way next Saturday, and among i the horsemen now at Aurora who will send their stables aboard the special horse train ■ are: O. L. Foster. A. K. Miller, M. S. Powell, J. McAuliffe, Battle Ax Stable. J. Bainton. S. S. Tracy, H. Neal, B. E. Rumage, W. R. Sallee, W. E. Harvey, Plack and Jones, C. N. Freeman, Silverdale Stable, J. Grass, M. K. Whalen and G. H. Morton. A special horse train carrying 100 head arrived at Danville from Columbus, Ohio, , last Monday, while three cars got in from Maryland Thursday It is expected that in i the neighborhood of 400 head will be on the grounds when the meeting gets under way and racing secretary Ed Knebelkamp is advising horsemen not to ship unless they ; have been allotted stalls. The track at the Danville course is stated - to be in first class condition, and starter C. D. Stevens will begin schooling the animals r Monday. *
